The orchestra DOMINANZ is a successor of the project called Cult of Deception that was established in 2006 by Roy Nordaas. After a couple of years with composing Roy joined forces with Frode Gaustad former drummer in the black metal band Thy Grief, and Jørn Tunsberg guitar player in the epic black metal band Hades Almighty. During the summer 2014 Jørn came to the conclusion that it was for the best to leave Dominanz so he could focus 100% on his other band Hades. After a while we replaced him with the young and talented guitarist Luis. 

 

October 2010 Dominanz released the single "The End Of All There Is", which also featured the song "Infinity". Almost a year later, August 2011, finally their critically acclaimed album "As I Shine" saw the day of light!



14th of November 2014 Dominanz released the album Noxious. It’s darker and definitely stronger. Dominanz from the Scandinavian extreme metal capital, Bergen, brings forth darker visions on their second album. The contributions of guest vocalists Abbath (Immortal), Olav Iversen (Sagh) and Doro Korsvold (Fairy) makes the music even more eclectic and varied. The atmosphere has become creepier, more agressive and blackish. It's dark, gloomy and destructive, but the catchy phrases of Dominanz will still be there.
